Prairie State Gaming Host Tornado Recovery Dart Tournament

November 24, 2013

PEKIN – As an Illinois company invested in many local cities and towns across the state PSG was anxious to help with the recovery efforts for those hit hard by the recent tornadoes that struck on November 7th.  Prairie State Gaming teamed up with Goodfella’s Pizza and Pub and WellsFargo bank to host a tornado relief dart tournament in Pekin, Illinois.

The goal was to deliver an event that raised funds and supplies for those in need as well as a source of entertainment for everybody who was so greatly consumed by the tragedy of tornadoes.  The event was a success raising $670 from tournament players and a Goodfella’s donation, $500 from PSG, and a generous $1,000 donation from WellsFargo bank.  Enough attendees came out and donated supplies to fill a truck full of everyday necessities to be distributed to those affected.

The tournament was a solid step towards recovery.  The Prairie State Gaming family would like to thank everybody who came out to donate and participate.  A special thanks to WellsFargo and Goodfella’s for teaming up to make this happen.  We could not have succeeded without everybody’s support.  Thank you.
