PSG Helps Fix Up Wounded Vet’s House

PSG Helps Fix Up Wounded Vet’s House

September 4, 2013

MIDLOTHIAN — As a veteran owned company, Prairie State Gaming supports many projects helping veterans.  When we heard about SSG Brett Mango’s situation, we jumped into action.  While in combat with the Third Infantry Division in Afghanistan, SSG Mango was ambushed and injured.  While in rehab, his house was taken back by an real estate company and fell into disrepair.   Then the squatters moved in, stealing everything they could and completely trashing his home.

Led by the Midlothian VFW, several union crews and volunteers repaired and renovated his house, allowing SSG Mango and his family to return August 24 to a nearly new house.  The Chicago Sun Times did an excellent article about the entire situation.  Prairie State Gaming is proud to have contributed time and money to the effort.  Welcome home, SSG Mango!
